張朝暉利用我們最熟悉的光、水、線條，創造出一幅幅似抽象而真實，黑白卻光彩奪目，飽富生命的水墨藝術，他說：想創造出人類的光明面，我們則更期盼透過其所創造的時光隧道，讓這世代人類貪婪、躁動、不安的靈魂，回歸到那寧靜、高尚、致遠的原鄉。

Zhang Zhaohui managed to create ink art that was full of contrasts: they were abstract but realistic, black and white in color but dazzlingly brilliant. He said that by delineating the bright side of human beings, we looked forward to soothing the restless and disoriented souls.
